LIBOR Trial: Our Client Acquitted
Today our client was acquitted of all charges at Southwark Crown Court.
Mr. Cryan is delighted with the unanimous verdict confirming his innocence of any involvement in a conspiracy to manipulate LIBOR.
Mr. Cryan had protested his innocence from the very outset, and explained what had actually happened to the SFO in lengthy interviews in January 2014. He cannot understand why the SFO never properly investigated the matters that he explained to them in interview, and is disappointed that it has taken so long to clear his name.
Mr. Cryan is relieved finally to be able to put this matter behind him, and looks forward to being able to get on with his life after two years with this hanging over his head.
Mr. Cryan would like to express his deep gratitude to his legal team at Bark&Co and to his barristers, Peter Finnigan QC of QEB Hollis Whiteman and Simon Baker of 2 Bedford Row, whose incredible hard work and skill helped demonstrate his innocence at trial.
