It is alleged that between 20 December 2023 and 2 May 2024, the three agreed to undertake information gathering, surveillance and acts of deception that were likely to materially assist a foreign intelligence service carrying out UK-related activities. It is also alleged that they forced entry into a UK residence on 1 May 2024. The primary targets of the alleged hostile activity appear to be Hong Kong diaspora now based in the UK.
Our client is a 38-year-old UK Border Force Officer – based at London Heathrow Airport – and a City of London Police Special Constable, and has no criminal cautions or convictions. He is also the director and founder of a private security company.
