Maria Stalbow

Maria Stalbow is a senior solicitor in Bark&co’s criminal team. Maria has over 15 years experience in defending all manner of fraud, financial and serious crime. This has included numerous complex prosecutions involving company directors, accountants, bankers, lawyers and doctors.

Specific cases of note on which Maria has been the senior defence lawyer include a highly sensitive police corruption case, a high-profile prosecution of jockeys for fixing horse-races, and a complex corruption case concerning the Millenium Dome.

Maria has particular expertise in defending MTIC prosecutions by HMRC and insider dealing cases brought by the FSA (FCA).
