Operation Kestrel

Senior Solicitor Sabrik Dhamu successfully represented a 15-year old defendant who was charged together with six others for the murder of Warren Free in August 2014. The killing is alleged to have followed a dispute with the victim that escalated into a violent attack, involving the use of a metal pole that caused fatal injuries to the victim’s brain. The defendant also faces charges relating to perverting the course of justice in connection with the disposal of evidence in the case. This was a serious group attack on a lone victim involving a large amount of complex forensic and electronic/phone evidence, as well as evidence of a highly sensitive nature.
